Facebook Reels are short vertical videos, and the app gives you no way to save someone else’s Reel. With this Facebook Reels downloader you paste the Reel’s link and download it as an MP4 file with its original sound, in the same full-screen 9:16 format you watch in the app.
Most Reels come in two qualities: a standard file that downloads instantly and plays everywhere, and an HD version for the sharpest picture. Because Reels are often shared for their music or voice-over, there is also an MP3 button that keeps only the audio.
Downloaded Reels are ordinary video files, so you can watch them offline, send them on WhatsApp or Messenger, post a reaction, or cut them in CapCut, InShot or iMovie.
To download Facebook Reels you only need the link: in the Reels player tap Share and then Copy link. Reels from pages, creators and public profiles all work, whether you found them in your feed, on the Reels tab or on someone’s profile.
There is no app to install and no login — the FB Reels download runs right here in your browser. You see the Reel’s thumbnail before saving it and can copy its caption and hashtags with one tap.

Is it safe and legal to download Reels?
The Reels downloader needs no login and no app, so your Facebook account is never involved. Reels are cached for a few hours to make repeat downloads quick and then deleted automatically; we don't use tracking or analytics.
Saving Reels to watch offline is fine for personal use. Reels and the music in them belong to their creators and rights holders — don't repost a Reel as your own, and ask the creator before reusing it.
Frequently asked questions
How do I download Facebook Reels?
Copy the Reel link (Share → Copy link), paste it on this page and tap Video, HD or MP3. The file is saved to your device in seconds.
Can I download Facebook Reels on iPhone?
Yes. Open this page in Safari or Chrome, paste the link and download — the Reel goes to the Files app, from where you can save it to Photos.
How do I save a Facebook Reel to my gallery?
Tap Video or HD. On Android the Reel goes straight to your gallery; on iPhone open it in the Files app and tap Share → Save Video.
Can I download just the music from a Reel?
Yes. Use the MP3 button, or the Facebook to MP3 page. Please respect the rights of the music's owners.
What quality are the Reels?
The standard file plays on every device; HD is the best version Facebook keeps, which depends on what the creator uploaded.
Does it work for Reels shared from Instagram to Facebook?
If the Reel is public on Facebook and you can copy its Facebook link, yes.
Why is the HD button missing for some Reels?
Facebook doesn't keep an HD version of every Reel. When there is none, the standard Video file is already the best quality available.
Can I download Reels from private profiles?
Not with a normal link — use the private video downloader with the page source of a Reel you can watch while logged in.
Can I download Facebook Stories?
Not at the moment. Stories are only shown to logged-in users, and we never log in to Facebook.
